Halo Infinite controller settings: Extra customizations If you’ve had the control schemes of Battlefield 2042 or Call of Duty ingrained into your muscle memory, you can also change the Halo Infinite controller settings to more closely match these two titles, if that’s what you’d prefer. It’ll take some getting used to if you’re already familiar with Halo Infinite’s default control scheme, but once it clicks, you might find yourself winning crucial 1 v 1 encounters you may have otherwise flubbed. Lastly, zooming is now activated by clicking the right stick, just as it was in many of the older Halo titles. The “A” button is instead used to sprint, while the right shoulder button lets you perform a melee attack. Moving the input to the left shoulder button ensures you don’t have to take your right thumb off the stick when you jump, allowing you to maintain the accuracy you otherwise would’ve lost by pressing “A” on the default control scheme. Note 2: I have my saved custom keybind from antimicro and halo infinite both in the same folder so whenever I play I just open both. When you close Antimicro the hot key wont work anymore. Go to Antimicro > on the app click the button you want to bind (tip: you can click the button on the controller and it will light up on the app to help find the correct button easier) > once keyboard on the app pops up choose the same windows key as above in step 1 > click save (top right) > save to desktop. Go to MicMute (quick access icon on bottom right of windows) > right click > setup shortcut > "`" > OK I chose "`" for windows key and "down on d-pad" for xbox.)
